March always feels like a soft beginning to me.

Not the loud, fireworks kind of reset we get in January. But the gentle kind. The kind that arrives with longer days, open windows, and that first warm breeze that makes you believe change is possible again.

Before anything else — happy Women’s History Month. 💛

This month always reminds me how many women before us built lives with less freedom, less visibility, and far fewer open doors — and still chose courage. Still chose ambition. Still chose themselves. I carry that with me. I hope you do too.

And maybe that’s why spring feels like such a powerful season for reflection.

Women’s History Month Reflection: Why March Feels Like a New Beginning

Lately I’ve been asking myself a quiet question:

If I could start over… what would I do differently?

Not about books. Not about plot twists or deadlines.
About life.

Spring has a way of softening us enough to ask harder questions. It invites honesty. It invites growth. And Women’s History Month reminds me that reflection itself is a privilege — one built by women who fought for our choices.

Career Alignment vs. Fear: Lessons I’d Tell My Younger Self

If I could start over…

I would make career decisions from alignment instead of fear.
I would stop chasing titles that looked impressive and start chasing work that felt meaningful sooner.

So many of us were taught to prioritize stability over purpose. To look successful before we felt fulfilled.

But alignment isn’t reckless. It’s sustainable.

And fulfillment is not a luxury — it’s a form of self-respect.

Financial Literacy for Women: Why Money Is Freedom

I would learn about money earlier — not just how to earn it, but how to respect it, grow it, and let it work for me.

Financial literacy isn’t shallow. It isn’t greedy. It’s freedom.

It’s the ability to choose.
To leave.
To pivot.
To invest in yourself without apology.

And that kind of freedom changes the trajectory of a life.

Building Confidence as a Woman: Networking Without Self-Doubt

I would network with less self-doubt.

I used to think networking meant being the loudest person in the room. Now I know it’s just about being curious. Listening well. Following up. Staying kind.

Confidence doesn’t always arrive fully formed.

Sometimes it’s borrowed.
Sometimes it’s practiced.
Sometimes it’s built one brave conversation at a time.

Taking Risks and Setting Boundaries: The Courage to Grow

If I could start over, I would take risks sooner.
The ones that scared me? Those were usually the right ones.

And maybe most importantly — I would say no more often.

No to things that drained me.
No to opportunities that weren’t aligned.
No to shrinking to make other people comfortable.

Boundaries are not barriers. They are bridges to the life you actually want.

Spring Renewal and Personal Growth: Letting Go to Bloom

Spring teaches us something beautiful: trees don’t apologize for shedding what no longer fits. They let go so they can grow.

Maybe that’s our invitation too.

Growth isn’t just about blooming.
It’s about pruning.

It’s about releasing expectations, habits, and identities that no longer serve the woman you’re becoming.

Honoring Women’s Legacy While Creating Our Own

This Women’s History Month, I keep thinking about how powerful it is that we even get to reflect like this. To choose differently. To pivot. To build again.

That is a privilege so many women fought for.

We inherit resilience.
We inherit unfinished work.
We inherit possibility.

And we add to it every time we choose courage over comfort.

So here’s my gentle question for you:

If you could start over — what would you change?

And what can you change now?

You are allowed to begin again.
As many times as you need.

With love,
Maris 💛
